Easter Season

Alleluia! Christ is RISEN! The LORD is RISEN INDEED! ALLELUIA!

In this Easter Season you are invited to join us for weekly virtual Sunday services!

Services are streaming live @ 10:30am every week here on our website (sslv.org/live)

We also have limited in-person worship attendance available for those who feel comfortable joining us in our church building, and agree to abide by our COVID19 safety protocols (namely: face masks, physical distancing, temperature check and signing of event waiver). If you would like to attend worship physically in person, please call our office to RSVP (as we do have a limited capacity based on government regulations and size of our space).

During this Easter Season we will celebrate the risen Christ through the practice of Spiritual Communion, offering a way for those viewing live streamed worship to engage in the practice of communion that we have not engaged with throughout this past year. For those attending physically in person, communion will be offered in a modified form, instructions for which will be shared at the worship service.

Easter Season?

Yes! Easter is a season of celebration, not just one day!

We mark the season of Easter as the 50 days following Easter (it’s even longer than the 40 days of Lent!), to celebrate the promise fulfillment that God through Christ has offered to creation. We celebrate this new covenant, this new way of being in relationship with God and with each other in creation throughout this season, culminating in our celebration of Pentecost Sunday (May 23, 2021) when we mark the birth of this new church, a church dedicated to the Way of Love that is the Jesus Movement. Join us!
