Christmas @ St. Stephen’s

Join us online at sslv.org/live or in person (masks required) on Christmas Eve for worship at 4pm.

Join us also on Sunday December 26 at 10:30am, online or in person (masks required, pajamas welcome!) for a special offering of Christmas Lessons & Carols on the Feast of Stephen!

Advent and Christmas afford us an opportunity to come together as one community in preparation and joyful celebration for the arrival of the greatest gift ever given to creation: God made incarnate in Jesus Christ.

This Christmas, we find ourselves continuing in the season of COVID, but hope abounds with continued vaccine rollouts to more and more people and ages, and we guardedly allow ourselves to embrace joy in expectation. This is the promise of Christmas that we prepare ourselves for during the season of Advent. We embrace the joy of the light that is to come even as the nights grow longer and colder each passing day. We embrace hope in a promise to be fulfilled, that has been fulfilled, that is fulfilled each and every year. We embrace this hope in joy this year especially as we look to the coming light.

We look forward to celebrating Christmas with you, wherever you may be.
