Green Faith

GF Santuary logoOur congregation was certified as a Green Faith Sanctuary in 2014 after a two year process of education, policy and stewardship development.  We worked hard to reduce our carbon footprint, celebrate creation in worship and education, and learn to advocate for the environment.

This meant insulating and changing windows, developing  relationships with local farmers and school gardens, thoughtful study groups, joyous St. Francis and Rogation worship, Interfaith experiences, partnership with Episcopalians in the Phillippines for carbon offsets and much more.  We see ourselves as a place to grow in creation oriented spirituality, and to wrestle with challenging ethical issues as we seek to understand our call to address climate change and sustainable living.
